I finally made time to upload and post photos I took with the digital camera on my cellphone. (SprintPCS - Samsung VGA1000/A620.) I'd say they turned out better than I expected!

Got my very first tattoo on 1/12/05. It's a Dutch flag and a friend's initials, just above my right ankle.

New skateboard: I wanted a good skateboard to get around town on; I'd bought one for around $40 US in Switzerland, but I figured I should get a better-quality board when I had extra money. So I went to Zumiez at Crossroads Mall, and Seth gave me his own recommendations before putting it together for me.

Utah State Fair: We'd only attended one day because we were there for the Newsboys concert on 9-11-04. The rides were extremely expensive ($2-4 each), so we went on the ferris wheel and a bungee jump that was a blast!

UTAH: This will be my section for pics of stuff in Utah -- mostly around SLC.

  • Utah Grizzlies, their ice-hockey team. Saw the logo on a truck, July '04.
  • Seen this spray-painted on some of the sidewalks in downtown SLC!
  • "Rosie the Riveter" sticker on an SUV's rear window.
  • More sidewalk graffiti.

While playing around with the camera, I was at work once and didn't have anyone around to take a picture of me on it. So I used one of the large rounded mirrors in the parking garage for it. (July '04 -- summer uniform: polo shirt, navy cargo shorts.)

In SLC, the Gallivan Center hosts an 8-week "Twilight Concert Series" on Thursday nights from July to August. They hired a security company (the one I work for) to do the event. I was assigned the east door of the stage building; it's air-conditioned, thankfully. I guard the door and only let certain people into the building. The best part is meeting some of the bands that play. Backstage was great for hearing them, but I couldn't see 'em.

The 3rd one is a little blurry because the guy who took it for me (I'm on the right) had a few too many beers.

I had fun with my (former) best friend Nick on the 4th of July. We went to a Salt Lake Stingers game (Triple-A minor PCL team of the Anaheim Angels), then sat in the outfield to watch fireworks. I'm surprised these photos turned out.

The others are pictures from one of the games we attended. We sat right by the home dugout. "Zing" the mascot saw me taking his picture, so then he posed for me and I gave him a ^5. The players are Andreas Galarraga (43), Wil Nieves (19), Adam Riggs (23), and I don't remember who was signing autographs.

Ran into my friend Justin one day at the library and offered to babysit his daughter while he checked his e-mail. She's very quiet unless she's hungry or wants something, but she's not one to sit still!

I was playing around with the Fun Frames option on my camera while at work and had a little fun with these two cashiers in the parking garage.
